For my first post, I have prepared a small video from Euro Truck Simulator 2. It shows you how to get to a hidden highway. Hope you like it.
Game version: 1.4.1 - no mods
So, this blog is about places that are not meant to be driven on. I look for these places, try to park my truck there, and take a screenshot. I'll post some challenges for you guys later on. It's fun exploring the forbidden areas of the (game) world!
Just found this blog....interesting! Next time I'm near Poznan I'll check it out. And if I find any other hidden roads, I'll post details :-)

DeleteIt was a fun surprise, when I installed the DLC yesterday, to see this road marked as explored on my map! :-D
Ah yes, it was obviously there in preparation for Going East! I shall get a copy of the DLC soon. Does it just expand the original map like a map mod? Or do you need to start new profiles? I lost a career once before after a major update to ETS2 :-(

DeleteYou do need to update the game to version 1.5.2 before installing the DLC though.
DLC installed! At first glance, Promods Scandinavia mod seems to be OK, but as expected, the Europe Rebuilding mod overwrites the parts of the map that Going East covers, i.e. Poland. Hopefully I can continue with the ER mod as before, and explore the DLC with added Scandinavia. Then I get 2 versions of Polish towns :-). Have you tried the Russia map mod? There's some awesome challenges in that one (snow,ice, deep-rutted mud tracks etc.).
DeleteNo, I haven't tried the Russian map. I'm not really a big fan of map mods. The original map itself is quite big - enough for me. I bought the DLC to support SCS and to have a better chance of seeing more DLCs in the future. :)
DeleteThe only map mod that I tried was Promods Scandinavia map. Only tried, since It did have a weird effect on my game textures. Everything was mixed up. :) Too bad, since I really liked the mod.
I've not had any problems with the ProMods map, but maybe this SCS forum page will show something similar:
